It is a master-class movie for comedy and action. It is an incredible representation of what the comical side of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) should be. The stars of the movie: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman embody the characters of Deadpool and the Wolverine. Kind to say that their mastery of action and acting in the film is simply astonishing; choosing them for these characters went without a doubt. This movie continues the ending of the movie Logan, where the Wolverine of Deadpool's timeline dies. The death of this "anchor being"(being that makes reality exist), which was that Logan, causes the death of the timeline. To fix this, to save his family and friends, Deadpool must search for a Wolverine substitute before the timeline collapses and all of reality ceases to exist.
In the beginning, Deadpool is shown to have no direction in life. Deadpool has left his superhero era but still deeply desires it, he even tried to get into the Avengers. Sadly, his efforts to keep his superhero act going through "earthly" matters were in vain. But an opportunity presented itself outside of reality itself. The TVA (Time Variance Authority) notices that his timeline is about to die and they want to grab him before he dies. He was special to them because he could stop nexus beings from ever causing a nexus event. When Deadpool notices that they only grabbed him because he was useful to them and that his universe is dying, he knows that he must find the nexus being responsible for the death of his universe. Logan was the nexus being in that universe, his death would have caused the death of everyone else unless Deadpool could bring a replacement nexus being.
When Deadpool finds the wolverine that could replace the dead one from his universe, he runs into the problem that the leader of that TVA division does not want that universe back. He had been against the new motives of the TVA and wanted to destroy all branches to keep the sacred timeline only. When Deadpool seemed like a threat to them, the TVA sent both Wolverine and Deadpool to the void. TVA did this in an attempt to buy time for the Time Ripper, a device that could destroy all branches at the same time. By the time they got out of the void, the machine was almost complete. It took both of their insane healing capabilities to be able to short circuit the machine and save the universe.
I don't know if it's Deadpool's constant try to make everything a joke or Wolverine’s annoyance and lack of emotional control, but nothing is funnier than two people who despise each other but need each other. Deadpool's constant desire to be happy makes him say and do some nasty things sometimes. Wolverine on the other hand is this introverted guy who just wants to be left alone. In the end, almost every scene, battle, or conservation has some kind of comical intent. His entire character and jokes relate to real-life things. That's why most of his jokes relate to something
in real life or something sarcastic. He likes to break the fourth wall sometimes too. Deadpool is a relatable character, in our sadness and our jokes.
I think that Ryan Reynolds has a very happy nature. A nature that they probably looked for very specifically since not everyone you meet is like Deadpool or to Wolverine. If you like to see comedy shows, then this movie should be something you like. On the other side, anyone that loves magic, action, and time travel would surely love this. It is very difficult to produce a movie that fits into such distinct categories, but Marvel has been able to test and prove that it's possible with titles like The Guardians of the Galaxy and the first Deadpool movies.
I wouldn't say this movie is important or impacts the MCU story, but we must recognize that this movie line never had that intent. Deadpool is always going to remain as a joke. Something to relieve the public from the stress from home, work, or school even. This is of utmost importance because in these times, we don't see breaks often. We are constantly getting pressured by so many people, bullied or annoyed. Having just one night to yourself, to see a man make a laughingstock of himself and at the same time save the universe is just what I need. In other words, life should sometimes give you a laugh or two. We shouldn't live life without joy.
AND THAT'S WHY YOU CAN SEE IT NOW IN THEATERS!!!!!!!!!
Me encanta que permitieron esa imagen. No lo digo para que sea censurada, pero genuinamente disfruto de que San Ignacio reconoce que no hay razon porque censurar todo y que nos trata como personas, no como niños chiquitos. Arriba Leones!!
